Connect to Twitter and LinkedIn

LinkedIn and X, formerly Twitter, allow users to stay connected to quickly and easily share content to a profile. This article covers how to connect and disconnect LinkedIn and X from an EveryoneSocial account.

This is available on all plans.

This is accessible to all roles and permission levels.

Connect LinkedIn and X

Start sharing content by connecting to a LinkedIn or X account.

  1. Click the profile menu.
  2. Select Account Settings.
  3. Scroll to Connected Accounts.
  4. Click the Connect to Twitter or Connect to LinkedIn.
  5. Follow the authentication process.
  6. *Enable or Disable Smart Scheduler. Learn more.
  7. Click Save Changes.

Once connected, X is authorized to stay connected for 1 year, and LinkedIn is authorized to stay connected indefinitely, unless credentials change or the connection is disconnected.

Connect multiple accounts

This is available on the Teams, Enterprise, and Unlimited plans.

  • LinkedIn: Connect another LinkedIn account following the same process above and use a second account’s login to connect to EveryoneSocial.
  • X: Connect another X account by switching profiles on X. Return to EveryoneSocial to authorize the connection in account settings.

EveryoneSocial uses OAuth to connect to Twitter and LinkedIn, and we are considered a vendor of each network. LinkedIn and Twitter provide vendor permissions and levels of access to take actions within an account. EveryoneSocial uses a permission level that allows everyone to share content and receive data accordingly. Please check out how we authenticate networks and use the granted permissions.

Disconnect accounts

Take the following steps to disconnect a LinkedIn or X account.

  1. Click the profile menu.
  2. Select Account Settings.
  3. Scroll to Connected Accounts.
  4. Click Disconnect Delete.
  5. Scroll and click Save Changes.
