Understanding Leaderboard Point Values

Leaderboards are scoreboards that assign points and rank users based on actions taken in a Workspace, such as connecting a network and sharing posts. To get the most from Leaderboards, it's essential to understand point values and how they can be applied to actions taken in EveryoneSocial.

In this article, you'll find a list of actions to assign points on a Leaderboard and how default scoring presets can be used.

Let's get started.

🔹 This is available on the Teams, Enterprise, and Unlimited plans.

🔸 This feature is accessible to Admin.

How actions are counted

Users immediately start to earn points for actions when the Leaderboard is activated. Actions taken within EveryoneSocial, such as posting content, are assigned to the Leaderboard within a few minutes after you earn them. Actions taken outside of EveryoneSocial, such as a share receiving a like, are assigned to the Leaderboard within 24 hours of the points being earned.

Each Leaderboard will have default point values for various actions. Points will not be retroactively awarded, and all points assigned will be given the points assigned at the time the action was taken. Once points are given to a user, they can't be removed.
