Share Content to a Company's LinkedIn Page

Leverage the power of your advocacy program by sharing directly to your company's LinkedIn page. You can even share content directly to personal networks and a company page simultaneously! All you need is access to a LinkedIn company page, and you can quickly share content today.

Connect a company LinkedIn page

Under personal settings, connect a LinkedIn account that manages the LinkedIn company page you to share content to. Once connected, every company page that is managed by that account will be available to share content to. Remove any that you do not want connected to EveryoneSocial by clicking x next to the company page.

🔸 When LinkedIn is reauthorized, all company pages are reconnected. This occurs either on an annual basis or whenever you reconnect a LinkedIn account that manages a company page.

Share to a company LinkedIn page

Share content to a company page by selecting it during the share process.

Click Share.
Toggle on the LinkedIn Company page.
Add share commentary.
Select the share image.
Toggle on Schedule for later and set a future date and time to publish.
Click Share.

Analytics for shares to a company LinkedIn page

Use the Detailed Shares report to view analytics and data for posts shared to a LinkedIn company page.

Go to Admin.
Select Analytics.
Select Shares.
Click Download Report > Detailed Report.
Click the notification "Requested ... report is ready for download, expires on ..."

A CSV report will be downloaded to your device, and you can view it using any compatible software.

Review Detailed Shares report

Do a review of the following data point below to determine if the URL was shared to a company page.

share_url: URL for the share—click to see the network and details of that specific share.

FAQ

My personal profile is connected to a LinkedIn company page, but it’s not showing as an option. What can I do?

It’s possible your account was connected to EveryoneSocial before the company page was linked to your account. Please disconnect the account and reconnect it to enable sharing to a company page.

Am I able to use one of the multiple share copy options for a LinkedIn company page?

Great question! We intentionally created multiple share copy options for personal accounts. While the content may be applicable to company pages, those typically have a different voice and brand for the company than team members. You’ll either want to copy and paste the share copy option or add unique commentary when sharing the post to a LinkedIn company page.

Do I need to have a personal page to create or connect to a LinkedIn company page?

Yes. You’ll need to create a personal page to connect to a LinkedIn company page and post on its behalf.
