Company Pages and Data Pulling
Every company page connected to your workspace appears on one settings screen, where you control which of them EveryoneSocial pulls engagement data from. This article covers that screen and the decision behind the toggle.
This page is available to Admins, under Admin > Settings.
Open the screen
- Go to Admin > Settings.
- Under Distribution, select Company Pages.
You will see one row per connected page.
What the columns tell you
- Page Title. The company page as it is named on the social network.
- Users Connected. How many people in your workspace have authenticated a connection to that page. A page with a single connected user is fragile: if that person leaves or their connection expires, the page stops reporting.
- Data Pulling. Whether EveryoneSocial collects engagement data from that page.
The Data Pulling toggle
Turn Data Pulling on for a page and engagement on that page's own posts becomes available in your reporting alongside the engagement your team generates by sharing.
Turn it on for:
- Your main corporate page.
- Regional or business unit pages whose audiences you report on separately.
- Any page whose performance you compare against employee sharing.
Leave it off for:
- Pages your organization no longer maintains.
- Duplicate or legacy pages from a rebrand or acquisition, which otherwise split your numbers across two rows.
- Pages belonging to a partner or a client rather than to you.
Turning Data Pulling off does not disconnect the page and does not affect anyone's ability to share to it. It only stops the engagement collection.
Keeping connections healthy
A page reports only while at least one connected user has a valid authentication to it. Connections expire, and people change roles, so a page that reported last quarter can go quiet without anything visibly breaking.
Two habits prevent it:
- Check the Users Connected count occasionally and make sure any page you rely on has more than one.
- When a page administrator leaves the company, reconnect the page through someone still there.

FAQ
A page we manage is not in the list. Why?
It has not been connected yet. The list shows connected pages only. See Connect Your Brand Pages.
Does turning Data Pulling on backfill historical data?
Collection begins when you enable it. Treat the toggle as the start date for that page's data.
Does this control who can share to the page?
No. Sharing to a company page depends on the person's own permissions on that page with the social network. See Share Content to a Company's LinkedIn Page.
Why does one page show far more connected users than another?
Because more people in your workspace hold page permissions for it on the network side. It reflects the network's own access list, not anything configured in EveryoneSocial.
