Admin Onboarding Checklist

Overview

Welcome to your journey with EveryoneSocial! This checklist outlines essential onboarding tasks to be completed within 30 days, ensuring a smooth and successful transition onto our platform. Follow these steps to connect brand pages, activate user accounts, and configure the platform to meet your advocacy needs.

  1. Connect Company Brand Pages:
    • Connecting your Socials is part of Account Setup and Activation
    • If you're also an Admin on your LinkedIn company page, you'll see the page as a subitem as a connected account. Click 'Done for Now'.
    • If you've already completed account activation, you can verify under your Profile menu, in Account Settings. You should expect to see your company page as a sub item in the Connected Accounts section.
    • If you're not the company page admin, invite them to the platform to go through a 30-second express activation in EveryoneSocial to begin pulling company engagements.

  2. Express Activation (Launchpad):
    • Navigate to Admin > User Management OR Invitations > New Invite.
    • Send platform invitations to executives and the employee base to connect their accounts.
    • Encourage prompt activation to expedite the onboarding process.

  3. Customize Workspace Settings:
    • Navigate to Admin > Workspace > Settings.
    • Customize workspace settings, including:
      • List of Employee Departments.
      • List of Employee Locations.

  4. Finalize Content Groups and Assignments:
    • Navigate to Admin > Groups.
    • Create and finalize content groups.
    • Add at least one onboarding assignment to auto-subscribe all groups.
    • Add 3-5 posts per group to kickstart content engagement.

  5. Add Share/URL Tracking:
    • Navigate to Admin > Settings > Share/URL Tracking.
    • Configure URL tracking parameters (e.g., UTM parameters) for program attribution.
    • Ensure proper tracking for monitoring and analyzing program performance.

Additional Configuration for Program Management

  • Add a Social Media Policy: Define guidelines for social media usage.
  • Create Segments: For targeted content distribution.
  • Set up a Weekly Content Email: For content highlights.
  • Set up a Leaderboard: To incentivize engagement and participation.

Completion Criteria

  • Onboarding is considered complete once the above checklist items are fulfilled.
  • Ensure all essential configurations and settings are in place for a successful program launch.
  • Contact Product Support for any technical assistance or further guidance.

Technical Integration

  • If you wish to explore technical integrations such as Allowlisting, Single Sign-On (SSO), or Slack/Teams integration, please contact support@everyonesocial.com and cc your IT point of contact to begin this process.
